We can’t imagine the Star Wars universe without lightsabers since they are one of the most iconic and important elements of it. Throught the years we were introduced to many different forms and every time we think it can’t get better, somehow it gets. But which is the all time coolest lightsaber?
10. Dooku’s lightsaber
This is a basic dark side lightsaber, but Dooku is a great dualist and his skills really help his lightsaber to stand out a bit.
9. Kylo Ren’s lightsaber
Unlike Rey, Kylo has his own lightsaber. Although we never really saw his full potential, his lightsaber is a bit different and unique.
8. Palpatine’s lightsaber
Again, another dark side lightsaber which we don’t see much, but when we do it is always an epic fight. My favourite is in the Clone Wars with Maul and Savage. In that scene Palpatine with his lightsaber looks absolutely terrifaying and unbeatable.
7. Luke Skywalker’s green lightsaber
Luke is very powerful and skillful on his own. What makes him even more interesting is his lightsaber. After Yoda, he is one of the rare (main) characters with a green lightsaber which is telling us how strong with the Force he is. Also, that Mandalorian scene will forever stay iconic!
6. Darth Vader’s lightsaber
Vader is such a cool character and with his lightsaber in the OT he became our favourite villan. Again, his hallway scene in Rouge 1; absolute masterpiece.
5. Obi-Wan Kenobi’s lightsaber
Ok I’ll admit, this may have something to do with him being one of my all time favourite characters. But you can’t deny the fact that Obi is very good dualist and has some cool lightsaber moves.
4. Mace Windu’s lightsaber
The only guy we see with purple colored lightsaber. This is a big part of his character, it represents him not being the best guy, but still not negative. It is definitely interesting to see this.
3. Ahsoka Tano’s white lightsabers
Another different color, plus she uses two lightsabers, it makes her look legendary. I LOVE her fights with Maul in s7 of Clone Wars, her fight with Vader in Rebels, and how powerful she is in Mandalorian.
2. The darksaber
Ok not really a lightsaber, but still, I think it deserves a place on this list. The design, the story it carries, the power; I’m obsessed.
- Maul’s lightsaber
The moment this epic character ignites his DOUBLE BLADED lightsaber is nothing but awsome. It just adds to his mysterious look and makes his comeback in Clone Wars a hundred times better.
